SENSEI JAKE
HEAD INSTRUCTOR · JACOB VASQUEZ
My name is Jacob Vasquez, and I am a lifelong martial artist, instructor, and student dedicated to helping others discover the benefits of martial arts.
At 27 years old, I have been practicing martial arts for over 17 years and have spent more than 15 years assisting with classes and teaching students. I currently hold the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt in Japanese Goju-Ryu and 2nd Degree Black Belt in Kakuto Bushido. While I have dedicated many years to teaching, I remain a student myself and continue my training with Fighting Warrior Karate Dojo, always striving to learn, improve, and grow.
Martial arts has had a tremendous impact on my life, and one of the things I enjoy most is being able to share that experience with others. Teaching gives me the opportunity to help students develop not only their martial arts skills, but also their confidence, discipline, focus, respect, and perseverance.
My goal as an instructor is to inspire and help both youth and adults grow mentally and physically while creating an environment where every student feels challenged, supported, and encouraged to become the best version of themselves.
I believe martial arts is more than learning how to fight — it is a journey of self-improvement, character, discipline, and personal growth. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue that journey and to help others along the way.
